  1. I thought that it was funny, how Ms. Fleming told her kindergarten friends about the adventures of her three legged cat. When I was little I used to tell stories but they were true and I always made my stories soooooo dramatic! Same with my brother. His are even more dramatic! I am very excited for Candace Fleming to come!

  2. It is weird that the kids she told the story of the three legged cat to thought that it was true! I would never think that a story of a three legged cat was real. If I were the kids that Candace Fleming told the story of the three legged cat to I would never think that was true. I wonder what her books are like because three legged cat are kind of strange.

  3. If someone came up to me and said they had a three legged cat I don't think I would of belived them. I had a self connection because I like to tell stories from the head not so much writing it down but I usually get scared to tell them. I think it was so cool that she just could think of those stories because like I haft to think about it for quite a wile.

  4. I thought that at the begeining no one was going to believe that that the stories she told were real. At least I thought that they weren't real. I had a connection to when she didn't know how to write. she could never explain what she means in a picture it is the exact same thing for me some times. I thought it was cool how she could just make up a story in her head and say it with out messing up.

  5. I don't think that I would believe a story about a three legged cat at least until I saw It. My mom said that I like to tell lots of story . I would try to say them like I was a grown - up.

  6. I think it is wide that she never said it was just a story. Why did she make up the 3 leg cat. How come she was popular even if she lied?

  7. I was amazed that she came with such detailed stories when she was only in kindergarten. When I was four years old, my mom and I used to make up stories about a boy who travelled back in time and brought back a dinosaur as his pet. I love storytelling because you can create whatever you want and make the characters do anything even if it is not possible.

  10. I thought that was a weird way of becoming a author. why didn't she do a four legged cat instead of a three legged cat and why didn't she tell it was made up.

  12. I think she is great and she wrote some of my favorite children's books. I think that she shouldn't have lied, and I think she should jot it down.
