We have been learning new information on the amazing country of Peru! Many of us did not have very much background knowledge on this country including Mrs. Smith!

  6. Peru's main language is Spanish, but some people speak Japanese. I learned that there are ABOUT 3,800 types potatoes - that is very awesome. I also learned that there are a lot of animals such as capuchins and Llamas, and there are also lots of plants. There is a soothing leaf called guava. If you put guava leaves in hot water they will soothe you. I wonder how many plants Peru has. I also wonder when Peru's flag was made. There are 25 different types of snails.

I learned that there is 3,800 types of potatoes and my other fact is that they speak 3 different languages but most people speak spanish there. they are also called the land of plenty because they have plenty of animals and fruits and people. They also eat guinea pigs there. I bet they eat guinea pig and potato dinners.
