It has been so exciting to watch the Astros in the World Series. Athletes also the same five stances that we have learned about--flexibility, empathy, persistence, resilience, and optimism--to help get better at their sport or bounce back from a loss. Which stance do you think you using often? Which stance do you think you need to use more often?

DeleteI think that the Astros out of the 5 stances use persistence because even when they lost in the world series they kept on going!!!
ReplyDeleteI need to work on persistence because on my blog I get super mad if I have to start over.I am okay at persistence at other things.
DeleteI have been using persistence. In tennis i have to play lots of people especially this season because I have to play in even more ladder matches.I think i should work on optimism because sometimes I don't look on the bright side...usually I do though.

ReplyDeleteI think the Astros use persistence. I do to. I think I need to work on Optimism. I usually don't think on the bright side but some times that is my good stance.
ReplyDeleteI use resilience a lot when my football or baseball teams lose an important game.
ReplyDeleteI need to work on optimism because whenever we are losing by a lot and we don't have a good team I say, "We lose!"
ReplyDeleteI think I use flexibility mostly because I mean like SO MANT TIMES, I have a plan. To make a card, be partners with a friend, and plans change ALOT.
ReplyDeleteI mostly use resilience because in soccer when I'm heart or I'm losing I bounce back up again. I need to work on persistence because in tennis when I'm doing bad I just want to stop.
ReplyDeleteI need to work on optimism. When my football team is losing I get mad. I need to look on the bright side.
ReplyDeleteI mostly use persistence Because i play lots of sports and i am allwase trying to get better!
ReplyDeleteI use resilience when I always try to build Lego things and I mess up. But I keep trying and I build a good one. I think that I should use empathy more because I think I don't feel how other people feel.
ReplyDeleteI use optimism when i play tennis, because usually things get better. I can work on flexibility when i play piano . I can also work on resilience when I skate ,when i fall i can try again.
ReplyDeleteI use optimism when I try and look at the bright side. In art, I made a mistake but I turned it into something awesome. I need to use flexibility more often.
