Please describe your art car and the process that you went through to make it.
How did you get the idea? How did you plan it out? Was any part of it surprisingly difficult or easy.

I got the idea from my love for dogs and roller coasters, and ice cream. I planned it out at home. Some parts like attaching the roller coaster track was difficult and the decoration was super easy.
ReplyDeleteWell, Jack gave me the idea of making my car and he told me "hey Kush and Owen, why don't we make a group of three cup and ball art cars." ,so that's what I did. my art car has the biggest cup on it out of the three of us. Which means that it's the easiest to shot into. It even has a back board! The wheels of my car are made of styrofoam eggs.There is some string that marks where you stand to make the shot into the cup.It is orange and there is a box that's in the car that holds all of the tin foil balls. So before the person choses the ball you say "pick your weapon!". after I made the back board I put my car in the size box. i noticed that my back board was to tall so I had to cut part of it off. So I ended up with almost no back board!the only problem with my car is that the wheels/eggs kept on falling off.This was a problem that was there the whole time that I worked on it. And they keep falling off, even now!
ReplyDeleteI frist thought of ice-cream. But then I thought of puppy's and it looks more like a puppy playground. Patsy told me to do a puppy playground the. Making the puppy's were hard work!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy art car is different, just like me! It was sort of difficult painting and making, but when I was decorating it all came together. Evie and I wanted to do one together, but I wanted to do it with everyone. So me, Annie,and Evie did it together. My car is an animal show car and who ever won got free ride on Evie and Annie's roller coaster. I was going to do it with Lillie but she changed her idea.
ReplyDeleteMy art car was a taco truck. I stuck a taco on the truck that was two boxes and the taco made out of cardboard that was bent and for meat I got tin foil painted brown.The taco truck was painted gold silver.The wheels were made out of white craft foam.

I got the idea because I love the astros!!!!!the wheels were hard to put on. and the bat.but I like the trophy!at first I was going to do a sports car,but I changed my mind.this is how I made it:1 I got a big cardboard circle 2i got the wheels,small card board paper 3 I attached them 4i constructed the trophy with straws(poles) and tape(wheels) 5 I made the bats shape with tinfoil 6 I put a cup on the side 7 I painted 8i decorated.
ReplyDeleteI got my idea from a pic that ms.Taylor showed us. My car was the missile car. I used two boxes, one cup, and one inside of a toilet paper roll. I think it was hard to paint the whole thing. It took a lot of flexibility.
ReplyDeleteMY car is a sports car. Well you see, I got the idea from legos. Weird right. So at first I thought about my pocket, because it had lego tennis rackets inside. So I thought "ooo lego tennis car". But then later I said to myself this isn't going to work out. Then I saw a ball. So basically I could have said I got the idea from a ball. So First I got the ball then I got tinfoil and made a ball. Then I made a trophy and went to painting. The base color was black and I put silver and gold dots. Then I got a hand slappy thing and got tape and taped the it to make a cylinder.
ReplyDeleteMy art car is a dog roller coaster. It was very hard to attach the roller coaster because it weighed a lot. The wheels are pink , manila and gold. my base is orange, yellow ,green ,light pink, blue, brown metallic purple , gold , sliver and pink. My car is attached to Ruhi's and Evie's.
ReplyDeleteThis year I made a dinosaur car. I got the idea because I love dinosaurs. Every year I get inspired by things that cannot exist. I wanted to have a moving head and tail. The tail worked out but the head only moves a little bit. It was really easy making the tail because all I needed to do was crumple three pieces of tin foil, put them next to each other and tape them. Today, I added a leash for the dinosaur car to be walked as a pet.
ReplyDeleteMy art car is a pink, happy, unicorn dressed as a chef. I got the idea after seeing a spoon in the materials box. My mind went "bingo!" and I thought let's combine a chef outfit with my other idea of a unicorn art car. The hard part was making the horn for the unicorn. I used tinfoil and it took 15 tries to make a horn shape. The easy part was making the body for the unicorn and drawing the hands. I taped a spoon on its hands. It was really fun and I am happy that I did a unicorn chef for my art car.
ReplyDeleteMine is a jet car. It's called the jet car because it has a jet on top that spins around and moves up and down. It has wings, so first I called it "junk car," then I didn't find junk. But then I saw the jet and I was like, PERFECT. It was the best car I've ever made. I just realized the art car parade is on my BIRTHDAY. Oh yeah, the color is silver and gold.
